Bamburgh Castle sits high on its rock above a huge stretch of beach, and at sunrise it's hard to beat. My sunrise film here was nominated for AirVuz Video of the Week.
The village itself is small and pretty, with cafés, a pub or two and the RNLI Grace Darling Museum.
